This is to officially announce that effective March 1st; 2010, STS Welding Consultation, Inc. will merge with "Construction Technical Services, Inc." in Houston, Texas, www.ctsisite.com. Mr. Steve Snyder will join CTSI in the capacity of Upstream Projects Technical Manager. In todays challenging economy merging of technical and financial resources in a very competitive and aggressive market is key to long term growth on a global basis. Both STS and Construction Technical Services ownership agree that this merger will provide the resources necessary to better serve our existing client base as well as provide the environment necessary to foster sustainable growth. This move to synergize efforts and optimize technical services on a global basis is key to our strategic business development plan. We will continue to provide Technical Welding, NDT, and Quality Consulting along with CTIS's worldwide presence providing Consulting Services. This merger will enhance our Global presence and resources accordingly, Snyder says. Mr. Snyder brings to CTSI over 22 years of experience and business development in multiple industries as a Quality Professional, Technical Consultant, Auditor and AUT -NDT Consultant. As an AWS SCWI, CSWIP-AUT, ASNT NDT Level III, ASQ-CQA and ICC-SSSI, he will be responsible for both the Asia sector growth of the business as well as assisting with the technical projects business unit as well. CTSI services include mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation inspection as well as vessel/tank, subsea and topsides equipment inspection and fabrication consultancy. The type of specialized personnel CTSI can provide includes engineers and managers, documentation specialists, construction consultants, project managers and project control specialists.
